Book is incredible, but was sent a damaged copy.

I have other books of Alli Koch and this one doesn’t disappoint. You can tell real time and effort went into putting this text together. Her other books are also just phenomenal. This book has so many tips and guides and really is just well done. This is definitely a great guide for delicate florals and I am enjoying the process she has laid out.

I bought this as a present for myself and it’s perfect. Couldn’t be happier with the book and the seller. Great purchase.

I love the line by line instruction with the additional perspectives. I’m not a fan of pages in a book for trying techniques. I do love the book.

Seriously the best floral sketch book ever. I started with Modern florals 101 to get the basics down, then progressed to this book. She expands from the first book and shows how to do floral leaves, bunches and word art. If you want to elevate your floral sketches this book is the one!

Alli's instruction on drawing this seemingly complex and intricate flowers is very easy to follow. I am a total beginner in drawing and she makes the step-by-step approach is far less daunting. In this book, she also explains on how we can use the floral illustrations for more fun projects that we can actually use/give as a gift/ hang on the wall. See attached, that is one of the projects inside the book that I followed. Thank you for doing this, Alli!

Beautiful book to learn how to draw flowers. So beautiful I don’t even want to practice in it. Only recommendation for the author would be to add a single page for each flower with traceable steps for practice the flower on one page from beginning to end.

After reading tons of reviews of both books I decided to buy this one first and I expected it to be worse than it actually turned out to be. It's a good book to start learning drawing modern florals with easy to follow turorials. There are 204 pages and 21 of them are blank practice pages (which are of a good quality paper for drawing with a pencil or a liner, but I'd prefer using a separate sketch book), I was literally expecting 1/3 of them to be blank after reading other reviews. There are also different flowers in this book comparing to the first one. So, I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

obviously you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but you can with this one. It’s gorgeous asthetically, and she has explained exactly how to draw stunning florals that you can incorporate into your drawings even if you don’t have experience! I definitely recommend this!

This book is amazing!! It has SO much information and is even more dynamic than the first book! My favorite part is how Alli shows how to draw a flower from a real life flower. (Only little complaint is that it wasn’t available as spiral bound, I’ll wear through the spine fast on this one. But still worth it all!!)

I am so happy I pre ordered this incredible book! I purchased the Modern Florals book last year so I hesistated slightly on getting this as well. Let me tell you. BEST. DECISION. EVER. There is so much incredible content and Alli makes it so easy to follow along. You truly won’t regret picking this up, I can’t wait to spend time practicing!

I have been counting down the days for this book to come out! I thought her first book was amazing.. this book exceeded my expectations of what a “how-to” book should be. Whether you think you’re “talented enough” or not, this book will teach you how. Not only does Alli go into detailed step-by-step of how to draw TONS of new florals, but also drawing them in different ways, wreaths, bouquets, etc. and also demonstrates how to digitize your art. I’m really impressed! This is a definite must buy!

It’s a beautiful book. Unfortunately, chapters 8 and 9 were repeats. It doesn’t show root structure if that’s what you’re looking for. Overall the step by step was great.

This is such a great reference tool for my art work - I use it all the time makes my life so. much easier - and is a great learning tool

I really love these books, unfortunately I couldn't bring them with me recently. I wish there was a Kindle version as they are seriously so well done.

I wish it had more color. The spiral back is very nice, and my 9-year-old niece sat down and copied a lily within minutes.

This is such a pretty book, well printed and thought out as well. Tons of great information, especially for someone like me who has no idea how to draw anything. The flowers are super simple, and the instructions are clear. Overall a great book, and the price was not too bad either.

The step-by-step, instructions and drawings make it so easy to follow along and learn how to really draw a beautiful flower within a short time. I am now drawing multiple kinds of flowers, and then watercoloring them. Something I could not have done before I got this book.

This is a great book for learning to draw flowers and use them in different ways such as a wreath, vase, bouquet, pattern design, etc. There is a small section in the back on digitizing which I am interested in. Yes, there are blank pages but that is for the purpose of practicing, which, if you are trying to learn - you have to practice over and over again. Personally, I did not draw in the book. I prefer a sketchbook. I followed this book page by page and drew everything multiple times. I will continue to refer to it. This has really helped me learn flower drawing and I will put that info to use in my watercolor painting as well.

I really like the layout and spiral binding of this book. Glad I did not get a kindle copy. It's slow going as there is a project a day - I think I am more advanced than I thought I was - which is good! I am enjoying taking my time with my drawing as I am usually not very patient. I'm only on week one so we shall see where this will go!
