I follow Virginia on IG and love her design style and tips. I’ve always appreciated antique and vintage pieces. My home is full of them. Can’t wait to dive into the book!

Virginia’s style for thrifting and design is so unique and special. She really opened my eyes to make our home, mine. And that it is okay to mix-and-match styles. Not everything has to stick to one plan. It gave me a lot of freedom in decorating, and when I felt freer, I begin to see my home come to life in such a beautiful way.Purchase it and purchase another for your thrifty friend! It’s worth it.

Such a great book!! I love how it expanded my view of how to decorate our home through fun thrift purchases. Great design doesn’t have to cost a fortune! Virginia has such a great way of telling stories + the photos are really inspiring. It’s a book I’ll return to again and again.

The book itself is gorgeous - love the checkerboard spine. The writing is great! Very snackable paragraphs, nothing overwhelming. Very useful for a seller just starting out or even a veteran. Great tips included for someone who wants to thrift for fun too! Very happy I bought it

I really enjoy how it is written. So conversational. I also love to see the secondhand treasures that people score, especially when they have an artist eye like Virginia. The best surprise in this book is the tips on how to check the value of an item that you find.

Honestly one of the best surprise finds that I’ve had in a long time. I love thrifting and really wasn’t expecting to learn too much from this book. Just thought that the title was catchy & cute. Opened it up and literally haven’t put it down. So many tangible tips for how to be more efficient at thrifting coupled with sharing the author’s own journey for scoring awesome finds. Also love the humor that she weaves throughout. Honestly was blown away. I’ve implemented so many of her tips already that this book has already redeemed its value. Don’t hesitate to buy it.

Virginia not only has an insanely good eye and sense for trends, but she's a brilliant and fun writer who makes all of this incredibly valuable info super engaging to read.Whether you're just getting started in thrifting, or want to take your game to the next level, there's no shortage of inspiration in this GORGEOUS book. The photography, styling, and artwork in the book itself are just stunning. A fantastic debut and I can't wait to read anything else she writes! Love following her on IG @vchamlee and wouldn't be surprised to see her on TV in the future.

Whether you're looking for design or second hand shopping advice, you need this book. The writing is wonderful, the stories of finds are inspiring and the styling photos are amazing. For lovers of great coffee table books or a pretty arrangement on your bookshelf, that's a bonus. Virginia learned from one of the best, her grandmother Joy, and she is happy to share what she knows as a great testament to Joy's kindness.

As a longtime vintage collector & a newer vintage seller, I was intrigued by this book & had to have it. First off, it’s GORGEOUS! Virginia is incredibly gifted at putting together rooms & vignettes for her home; I was so inspired by every image! I also learned things I didn’t know about where to thrift & what to keep an eye out for. She gives so many great ideas about how to pair your finds. All around, an excellent book that will live on my vintage sitting room table, to refer back to time & time again when I want to get my thrifting & decorating juices flowing.

This book is an absolute wealth for every single person who appreciates the art of vintage. Whether you’ve been thrifting your entire life or just getting started BUY THIS NOW. The photos are gorgeous and there is tons of inspirational for style but also practical and budget friendly tips on how to find seriously valuable pieces. You’re gonna want to go thrifting and share about all the things you find with everyone - Virginias instagram is awesome too you can see her finding stuff first hand. I cannot say how much I love every bit of this book!!!

This book is a MUST for anyone looking to sharpen their thrifting skills or just getting into it! So much great content in this one book that it has me wanting to go to my nearest antique store asap! Virginia shares plenty of excellent tips and resources to let you know what to look for and how to find it (& boy has she found some really amazing pieces of history along the way!) I've indulged in the first 100 pages in one sitting and don't think I'll stop till I finish the entire book. Can't wait to use what I've learned on my next thrifting adventure!

I discovered Virginia Chamlee on IG and Chairish. Once I heard she had a book coming out, I pre-ordered immediately - which meant I waited in agony for the release date. I was not disappointed. This book is filled with amazing thriftspo and tips for the hunt. I’ve loved reading and flipping back through the book. I will continue to use this guide and look back over time. Cannot recommend enough!

i have been following Virginia Chamlee on ig for at least a year. when she shared that she was writing a book I knew I had to have it! I just got the beautiful book and right when I opened it I could feel the inspo pouring out! i can’t wait to dive into this beautiful book that will be on display in my home and inspire future outings to the thrift store;)

Congrats to Virginia for writing a definitive guide for thrift enthusiasts. No matter your personal aesthetic, location, or budget, you will find valuable tips on navigating various thrift shops, antique fairs and estate sales. My favorite tip is to hone your aesthetic before shopping—something I’m guilty of neglecting! A fabulous book with gorgeous visuals.

This book reminded me of the ma t great memories antiquing with my grandma & mom. This book solves a huge “how to” void in the thrift/vintage markets & is very helpful. The opening line said everything “Do you remember your first crush?”… “that’s what a great thrift find is like for me.” That is so me! Even my husband laughed reading him that, because I get serious whopper freak out moments when I find something epic.If you are unsure or even intimidated by thrifting, do yourself a favor and buy this book. Not only is it a wonderful source of information, but dammit it’ll make a great conversation piece on your coffee table!
