Very recommended. I made my first quilt blanket ever from this book. Instructions very clear and easy to follow. Patterns inside book is easy to follow and beautiful when finished. This book really for someone who just learned to quit. 🥰🥰🥰

Super excited to pick up this new quilting book. Great photos and instructions for beginner quilters and more advanced. I love that the specific Kona colors are listed and each quilt is shown with multiple color ways. I also really appreciate each patterns has 3 different size options. Can’t wait to get started!

This is the perfect modern quilt book. All the patterns are written clearly and concise. I love all the different color options shown for each pattern. I highly recommend this book to any level of quilter!

I love all of the patterns in this book! Usually with a quilt book the question is which of these patterns do I actually want to make. With this book the question is which do I want to make first?! And it’s pretty enough to sit on my coffee table.

I am not a new quilter, I have maybe 5 or so quilts under my belt, but I imagine if I was this books intro section would be like a holy grail. Wendy does a fantastic job breaking down how exactly one makes a quilt in easy terms, something I wish I had when I made my first couple quilts. The designs are beyond beautiful, I could see myself making most of them at some point. My favorite feature of this book is how well done each quilts instructions are. They are so clear and she even includes really helpful pictures and diagrams. I am smitten by the tiny illustration of the rotary cutter, it’s so dang cute! I have use many quilt patterns from many different designers and this is some of the clearer language I’ve seen! I couldn’t recommend this book enough and I have fabric coming in the mail for the crosstown buzz quilt as we speak!

Gorgeous book-- I have long been a fan of Wendy's work, and was so happy to hear she was releasing a book!I appreciate the easy to understand instructions with photos to accompany them, as well as different color schemes and well organized charts for cutting the different sizes (each comes with 3 sizes to choose from!)I can't get wait to get started! I’ve read a lot of quilting books. This is a great book for quilters of any level. The patterns are modern looking and easy to understand. I appreciated how the author took time to explain the quilting basics in a concise way. I loved this book.

If you're interested in modern quilting this is a terrific go-to reference.

Gives lots of ideas for projects! Good patterns for many quilts.

WARNING: Author's yardage amounts are not entirely correct. Costly mistake ... I am now stuck with nearly 2 yards of fabric. I blame myself; I should have realized the amounts weren't logical. Otherwise the designs and instructions are great!

I like all the different ideals for more modern quilts

I have been sewing for many years, but finally ventured into quilting. This is an excellent resource for anyone like me who is trying quilting for the first time (or those who have been quilting… the patterns are gorgeous!). I love the modern designs, and the inspiration with all the beautiful solid fabrics!

I've never quilted before and was intimidated by the idea, but this book breaks it down into simple terms. I sew clothes, so I'm not sure how the book would be for someone with no sewing knowledge. The patterns are great too!

Good information. There aren't many patterns, but the ones included are all nice, modern style quilts with complete instructions.

I'd been thinking about trying my hand at quilting for some time when this came out, and the title alone made quilting feel so much more approachable than it had ever seemed to me before. I love that it includes quilts as well as smaller projects. I live in a small space and knowing that Wendy's approach was coming from the perspective of an NYC apartment dweller was encouraging. When I actually got the book in hand I found it to be beautiful, detailed, and easy to follow. Wendy's site and Instagram have also been wonderful resources. I made my very first quilt (Twin Poles) using this book and it continues to be a resource and inspiration I return to a year and many quilts later.

Not only does this book include an informative, brief history of quilting and some terrific modern designs, but it is also a beautiful object in and of itself. Full-color photos, clear diagrams and directions, several colorways for each project are just the beginning. Hard cover, lie-flat binding, an attached ribbon bookmark, and the black binding with color cover photo make it a beautiful addition to your library, before or after you make some of Wendy's projects A delight!

So happy I purchased this book. It’s awesome ❤️
