Bought for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. Easy to follow instructions, lots of fun sea life figures to draw. I honestly think any age that loves to draw would enjoy this book!
I bought this for my 10 year old ocean and art lover’s Easter basket this past spring and he’s been the happiest camper and his drawing techniques have substantially improved. The book has been easy to follow and he’s been able to apply the advice and techniques in the book to other drawings it’s been wonderful to watch him take the knowledge from this book and run with it.

It’s not necessary to purchase complicated drawing books only to frustrate yourself into thinking you can’t even render a stick figure! Get this book and others like it. Practice on paper or art apps like Procreate and others! You’ll see!

My son is constantly asking for help drawing animals but my own ability is really limiting his growth. So I found this little gem. He loves learning how to draw the sea creatures included and I think it’s helping him draw other things as he seems them as a combination of shapes now (if that makes sense). I love that he is learning and I’m catching a break!
